The minimum for all tattoo services is HK$500. Simple black-line designs around 3–5 cm may start from HK$500, but not every design of that size is charged at the minimum; the actual quote follows the design.
Lettering is generally around HK$800–1,500. Chinese characters, complex typefaces, longer text or more difficult placements may cost more. Each artist quotes individually according to expected time, complexity, placement, size and colour.
The responsible artist confirms the deposit arrangement. A substantial change to the size, placement or design after confirmation requires a new quote. For a more accurate reply, send the subject, placement, dimensions in centimetres and references on WhatsApp.
Payment methods: cash, Alipay, PayMe, FPS, Mastercard, Visa and instalment payment options. Mastercard, Visa and instalment payments carry the applicable handling fee; the exact fee will be confirmed before payment.

- Placement and size: the same design changes when it follows an arm, shoulder, back or rib area. Give centimetres or a clear scale reference.
- Detail and line density: a small tattoo can still require careful spacing for fine lines, faces, petals or layered shading to remain readable.
- Black and grey or colour: colour range, saturation and the number of layers affect how a piece is planned and completed.
- Composition on the body: artwork needs to respond to skin curves, movement and clothing, rather than simply placing a flat image on the body.

How to mention a budget
